The Bahamas is made up of 700 Islands speckled over 100,000 square miles of the Atlantic ocean starting just 50 miles off the coast of Florida. The coolest time is from September through May, when the temperature averages 70 – 75oF. After sunset, the temperature only drops between 5 – 7oF still allowing for a warm nights. Hurricane season can last from June to November, but May and June are known to be the rainiest months.
